RARAHU (K 34) was built in 1914 by Morgan Giles and May for Otto Wirth who travelled extensively to participate in regattas in Trieste, Venice, Genoa, Pula, Rome, Marseille, La Rochelle, Nice, Hamburg, Kiel, Stockholm and in 1936, San Francisco.

There is also reference to the participation of RARAHU in regattas at the Attersee, Traunsee, Wolfgangsee, Starnberg, Ammersee, Lake Constance and Lake Como. For the transport of the boat to the various places, a private railway wagon was prepared, with a sleeping area, kitchenette and toilets for two accompanying sailors. Otto Wirth himself traveled by car with a driver. For many years the RARAHU was owned by Mr Heinz Klammer in Pörtschach.

In 2012 it was bought by Karl Khevenhüller-Metsch (Lord of the Hochosterwitz fortress in Carinthia) and Dr. Georg Kohlfürst (An industrial family from Carinthia).

In the years 2013-14 Karl Khevenhüller-Metsch and Georg Kohlfürst had RARAHU overhauled by Peter Wilson of Aldeburg, England. Today the boat sails with the two owners in the Wörthersee.in Carinthia.
